**NECROBUMP - 360 dying/dead!** Should I buy an intercooler for my new 360?

Well, there was a lot of controversy talk in all the official channels about the Intercooler, basically making it out to be some sort of boogeyman that could/would red ring your 360 due to it pulling a minuscule amount of power from the PSU via passthrough to run its fans, so that might have put you off of picking up another one.  I was doing board level repairs on tiny cell phones at the time and understood how a lot of the electronics involved worked, so I called shenanigans on that nonsense and went about my days using my original Intercooler until I ran across that bigger, snazzier version I ended up replacing it with.  Still have the original one in a box with a bunch of PS2/360 era accessories I don't typically use anymore.
