    • 10/10 - One of your very favorite movies of all time. Top 10.
    • 9/10 - Killer fucking movie. Everyone should watch it.
    • 8/10 - Great movie. Maybe one of the best released that year.
    • 7/10 - Very good movie, but not quite great.
    • 6/10 - Pretty good. You might enjoy the occasional watch, or tune in if you happen to catch it on cable.
    • 5/10 - It's okay, but maybe not something you'll go out of your way to watch.
    • 4/10 - Meh. There's plenty of better alternatives to this.
    • 3/10 - Not very good.
    • 2/10 - Not your cup of tea at all. Some people might like this, but you are not one of them.
    • 1/10 - Horrible in every way.
      0
    • 0/10 - The Citizen Kane of painful experiences. You'd rather shove an icepick in your retinas than watch this.

voted 7. liked this movie quite a bit. easily my favorite non-Batman Christopher Nolan film, although i am really intrigued by the teaser trailer for Tenet that i saw.

never really understood the "you just don't get it" argument for this film. people seemed to think the plot was ridiculously complicated, but i thought the movie presented and explained its world quite well.

I thought that as well. Going in to it, I was expecting something stupidly complicated, but it was made very clear what was going on throughout the entire movie, I didn't find it hard to follow at all. Some people use the whole "It's too complicated" thing as a con, and I don't really get it.

If this makes any sense I think 1917 and Parasite are better movies, but this one is a better choice for a poll. It's like doing a game debate on *insert amazing game here* where almost everyone is in agreement. Good pick ZF

That does make sense, yeah. 1917 is another one of my favorites, so I was heavily considering doing that one in addition to Inception, but I decided against it. I think my other pick will also make for an interesting poll.

9/10. I really enjoyed this movie, but felt there was more they could've done with it. I've seen it a couple times

10/10, it's in my top 10. Two things I absolutely love are movies that play with time and physical rotating movie sets, and man, this movie might do both of those better than any other movie. The Hans Zimmer score is also the bomb.

The rotating hallway fight is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. And yeah, Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers, his style of music is right up my alley.

Granted, nowadays Nolan is known for having the preference for practical movie effects, and after I learned this fact I dug the movie even more

Out there concept done really well

Only complaint is the dreams aren’t surreal or trippy or dreamlike at all.  They go to empty cities, empty hotel, and a snow base out of goldeneye 64x.

Pretty much spot on. also lol

People that don't like to put thought into their movies... which is fine, I'm all for the stupid "shut your brain off and enjoy the ride movies" but also one of those things I don't think is fair to judge a movie like Inception to as it clearly really isn't.

Not that it would have to be a sequel or prequel or even all that interconnected, but I wouldn't mind another movie set in the "Inception universe" or w/e you want to call it. I feel like there is a lot to possibly explore? Or maybe it's just me lol
