Yes, Joe Biden and Kamala are corporatist/liberal Democarats; that is not the same as a Republican. The few moderate Republicans still come with other nonsense policies that are beyond the majority of Dems.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are losing their lead because they are using Hillary's playbook of only trying to appeal to that middle to high middle class white demo. They are not bringing in Mexicans or the 30-35 year olds. Who was bringing in the 30-35 year olds and hispanics? Sanders and Cortez, plain and simple. Why did the DNC fuck over Cortez by giving her only a 60 spot at the convention? She is one of if not the most popular congress people and brings in more money than anyone else.

2. The reason Trump has been able to control messaging is because the democratic leadership passed bad stimulus policies that could have contained better stuff and the house is not holding hearing for all the crimes of the Trump administration.

3. They didn't need Kamala on the ticket. Black women vote more regularly than any other demographic which means they are going to vote no matter who the nominee is. Kamala Harris is a corporatist prosector who let off Steve Munichin for his financial crimes and threw poor parents in jail. She is fucking useless except for getting wall street to drop more coin in the purse. 

4. How is your answer to our screwed up country that we need more Republicans?

a. The Republicans destroyed the economy.

b. The Republicans wasted trillions of dollars of stimulus on corporations

c. The republicans gave trillions of dollars in tax cuts to the rich

d. The republicans have failed to respond to Corona virus and are the direct cause of tens of thousands of deaths.

e. The republican are tring to destroy the u.s.p.s

f. The Republcans are attacking Social Security and Medicare by trying to defund it through payroll tax cuts 

g.. The republicans are failing to pass stimulus for all the states, families, and small businesses that need jt.

(Also, the line about not giving money to failing blue states is bs. California pays excess taxes. The extra taxes CA and NY pay end up supporting republican states

5. Or maybe Biden should get behind "Medicare for All" probably the most popular proposal in the country.

Republicans have failed at every level. What we need to do is export Republican strategist to all the country's we don't like.

And no, they didn't unilaterally destroy it.  Everyone gets to share in the blame.  In part because everything has become politicized which has increasingly made every aspect of our government incapable of getting things done, cooperating, or making decisions that entail any sort of compromise.  You want to continue down our partisan path?  Because it is not going to take us good places.  The pendulum is growing out of control.

If Biden and Hilary's goal is to get elected they should go after the easiest votes. The easiest gains could be made going after votes that aren't middle class white. 

Donald Trump isn't some guy that came along and suddenly changed the Republican party. Donald Trump had no solid policy positions, his policies are being written by long time Republicans. The Republican party and it's goals are the cancer in the country. Donald Trump is a tumor that came from the cancer that is the Republican party.  

Barrack Obama reached across the isle and tried to work with the Republicans for eight years and it was useless. That argument doesn't work anymore; we have seen that it is pointless. Corporatist/liberal democrats are moderate enough before being influenced by republicans.

These republicans like the Lincoln Group have gotten all the trash policies that they want under Donald Trump and now want to change sides. We see them, it's ridiculous.

I am not sure what you are responding to when you say "they didn't unilaterally destroy it." I named a bunch of different terrible things the Republicans have done the last three years.

People also make fun of the way Biden talks. But it makes me wonder if they actually listen to Trump and have ever heard him speak? Biden had a childhood stutter, and I can pretty easily recognize most of his "odd" word choices to be ways to step around words that are about to cause a problem. 

Trump just talks with a 3rd grade vocabulary and the affect of a reality show TV host.  (5th grade is way too generous)

 

The level of cognitive dissonance with Trump supporters saying how awful Biden is, is just wild. This is the same crew that blurts out that you have "Trump Derangement Syndrome" if you bring any complaints against Trump for any of the MANY bad or idiotic things he has said or done, but somehow they see no issue with continuously beating a drum about how mentally unfit Joe Biden is.  It's frankly pretty disturbing when I see otherwise highly intelligent people succumb to it.

My real hope is that Republicans lose their asses while continuing to amplify these racists and q-anon nutbags to put even more of the broad electorate off, especially since it is far more diverse And will only be more so in the future -to the point we can do something about the whole electoral vote. I think with a true popular vote and term limits, we can get some actual change. 
 

True change starts with harnessing the deficit, and republicans giving rich people tax breaks while selling white grievance to poor people in the south to get them to elect republicans isnt the way to do it.

There's plenty of ammo to argue which one has a greater mental decline, but we're also seeing their "blooper reels" more often than not. Personally, I think the issue for people against Biden is that he's clearly in decline, especially since he was much more coherent in the past. Trump has always been a loud-mouth moneybags businessman, so at least he's consistent(?). For age, Joe Biden would be the oldest president in history, so he gets the "too old" box checked by many. Outside of their gaffs, Biden's political history with equal rights is troubling, and he's clearly pivoting just to side with the "Trump is racist" and BLM folks, but Joe is just as racist, if not more so IMO (Joe has recently made much more racist comments than Trump, at least from what I've seen on the "blooper reels"). Throw in "Heels Up Harris", and it amplifies the resistance against the party for some people. 

I think the biggest thing swaying voters over to Trump is him condemning the rioting/looting, while the Democrat leaders of the biggest cities impacted seem to just be letting it ride out. When adding COVID to it, I think the folks on lockdown/following protocols see the protestors/rioters getting a free pass around restrictions and it pushes them farther to the right. In addition, everyone on the left loves to blame Trump/Republicans for COVID spread, but clearly anti-Trump folks/Democrats are just as susceptible and are contracting the virus. The woman who blamed Trump for her father's COVID death during the DNC is just despicable, and people recognize that Democrats are pulling all the bullshit strings to get Trump out. Paying someone to use their father's death for political gain by smearing Trump is disgusting. Like Reed said earlier, they're aiming to get Trump out at all costs, but if elected, they won't do anything to help "heal" the nation.
