Kguillemette | 1,543
Looks like a poisonous berry bush in my back yard, meaning it's got to go, as my 5 year old will devour these first chance she gets. I can't figure exactly what they are, though. Anyone know exactly what it is?
Bearcat-Doug | 5,104
This looks like it could be your plant. The berries are poisonous, so getting rid of it would be a good idea with a 5 year old that might try to eat them. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilex_decidua Edited June 27, 2020 by Bearcat-Doug

Bush won't see the end of next week! On a side note, we just moved from the city of Manchester, nh to a forest in Milford, nh. Having to watch out for homeless drug addicts was rough, but watching out for fucking bears, ticks, and poisonous plants is a whole new ballgame! ICrappedMyPants | 302
I hear you man. My house has some woods on the side of it. I’ve been trying to deal with these wild Buckthorn trees. My mom was helping me as I was cutting them down while my wife was inside with the kids. She has a tick in her leg. These trees are nasty too, very hard to kill. Tabonga | 2,315
Mrs. Tabonga thinks it might be a sage variety of some sort. I If so it should pose no threat. You might want to take a sample of the leaves and berries to a local nursery and see if they can identify it. I've never seen sage get that big.
