WTB: New 2DS XL (with or without games included)

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone!

Looking for a very good/mint condition New 2DS XL preferably the blue/black or orange/white model. special editions welcome depending on price.

Let me know what you have and what your price is. games can be included if you are looking to unload.

My son dropped his original 2ds and broke the screens on it. I bought a replacement screen and put it in, but it appears the camera function is broken which is sad. looking to upgrade it to a 2DS XL.

thanks!

@Draygoon I'm not looking to sell, just curious. From what I've seen, the N3ds xl is actually cheaper than the N2ds xl. I personally love my 3ds, the 3d effect in games like Mario 3d Land and Mario Kart 7 is really awesome, and with headtracking on the N3ds it works really well. I'd highly reccomend a 3ds over a 2ds, but the 2ds does have a slightly better and more durable hinge. Any specific reason you're after a 2ds?

hey no problem for asking. My eyes can't do the 3d since i have an astigmatism. the 3d is pretty much a useless feature to me. 🙂

i understand that i can turn it off, but i do like that its just one less thing to break in the future.

I highly recommend modding. The N3ds line can run NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, Genesis, SMS, Sega CD, GG, 32X, SCUMMVM, and more damn near flawlessly for most games. N64 and PS1 also run well for a few games, the more popular titles that have been optimized, and MS-DOS and old Mac games also run well. Plus, you've got pretty much every Atari game you'll ever need.

Wario64 on Twitter. He's pretty much the first one to announce every gaming deal that pops up in the US. Unfortunately, you'll probably spend more money by following him because he tweets so many deals.

When he tweeted this one, I remembered your post and immediately came here in hopes you hadn't found one yet. I have this 2DS XL and it's a fantastic piece of hardware so I hope you enjoy it.

Mario RPG runs at 50 fps on old models, and the new models run it at locked 60fps. I'm not sure about Yoshi's Island, but the Star Fox games that use the same chip run really well on the newer models, so I imagine it runs at fullspeed.

Edit: Yoshi's Island runs natively on the system through the VC, so just inject a rom of it in .cia format and you're good to go!
