Last time I played this game prior to this contest starting was way back in 1/22/2012, beat it without dying, no warps used, no shortcuts taken, score 928,950 (played for NA high score contest), and 8/12/2012 with 2 deaths, nothing since then until now 1st score : 394900, world 5-3 (damn Bullet Bill got under my feet during a jump, causing me to bounce upon it and to my death, but not a bad first time back, though found myself constantly testing the movements of my character to get a feel of it again and surprised I even made it that far given how sloppy I was playing) 420050, world 5-3 (again, same world, like a half dozen games later) 530750, world 6-3 (Mario needs to bring a parachute along) Edited April 20, 2020 by MeganJoanne score update 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also just realized I died in the exact same spot. 367,500 Finally a game I've played before (except I'm sure everyone most everyone has played this game more than me). I've never beaten it without warps and definitely didn't do it deathless with warps. So, I imagine I won't be top 8 this week. Also playing mario for points feels so weird.
