Were these used in demo kiosks as well? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sega-Genesis-Lion-King-Demo-Cart-In-Store-Use-Only-EXTREMELY-RARE-Lot-of-Games/114162416497?hash=item1a949c3b71%3Ag%3AJB8AAOSwgyJegL~S&LH_BIN=

Obviously the listing is gone, but I never recalled seeing demo stations in Columbia, SC area blockbusters as a kid. Granted, I didn't shop at every Blockbuster, but I did go to one near my house, and when I went to my Dad's house every weekend, we would often rent a Genesis and a game or two. I wish I saw this two years ago and snagged the photos. I can't say this wasn't a "demo" some where, as I think Columbia had around 12-15 Blockbusters in it's hey-day.
