Earthbound Inserts

Ok so a complete Earthbound has the big box, cardboard insert that holds the game, the play it loud poster, the players guide, the Nintendo power whoa insert, the Nintendo power registration card, and SNS-US/CAN-2

2 questions:

1. What is the smaller Nintendo Power registration card, can you share a pic of it, and did it come with any other games

2. The players guide had scratch and sniff cards on the last page, are they the same for all of the strategy guides or do they differ? Mine has the hot dog, fungus, varmint, monkey, ness, and green cloud

Yes get off your butt and take apart your CIB Earthbound for me!

1.  At about the 1:20 mark in this video the guy shows a close up of the card you're referring to - 

 

 

2. the scratch and sniff cards are all the same, there aren't different characters to collect.

Yeah I think I watched this video. I’m missing that registration card and I think it’s unique to the Earthbound players guide.

Ya, to my knowledge that's an EB only card.  Which makes sense, since the one side uses the green stink cloud that was part of Earthbounds marketing campaign(you can see it as the background of your scratch n sniff cards).
