Nugfish | 652 Posted January 21, 2020 Share Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) Just logged in to NBA 2K18 on my Switch and found out the servers shut down which doesn't matter to me except for one thing: MyPlayer is gone, the only mode I played. After playing 150+ games building up stats for that player, all my progress is lost and I have little reason to play the game again. Current Gen games strike again... There is no reason for a 2 year old game to shut down The problem is that the vast majority of customers play this game for a year, then get the new version, so if the old one doesn't work anymore, they go "oh,well."
