Hi @Bubbapauls

Thanks for the list.

I'm curious about the quote:

Mego Corporation made these LCD games right before Nintendo purchased the rights to them. Branded A Time Out Game.

Do you remember where you have this information from, I would love to read your source on this, and curious to why Nintendo should've needed to purchase the rights to their own games?

Thanks,

I don’t have a source handy but I was reading about them and they sold Mego the licensing to sell some games in the North American Market before Nintendo had even came there.

Mego went bankrupt, then Nintendo began selling them and others in the North American Market instead of just the Japanese Market.

I think I need to change that quote. Thanks for the heads up that the information didn’t sound right.

Yeah he's right.  It just reads kind of backwards.  They're Nintendo made, but just not initially in the market outside of Japan - and that reads that Nintendo didn't make them at first.

I really do dig the list, there's a good bit of greatness going on there with a very easy to follow breakdown of it all.

Interested in something very old, found a copy of it on a backup.  I used to run this as part of an early vintage gaming/emulation website hosted site on the vintage gaming network (aka if you remember Dave's Video Gaming Classics in the 90s.)  This is the Game & Watch Panorama http://tanooki.byethost16.com/gwpanorama/  not sure how useful it would be at this rate as I don't even remember what I put there back in college but it amazingly still exists.

Here is my complete collection.  The YM-901S is quite special.  It includes the original envelope the game was sent in.   Some of the game could use better box, but it took me a few years to complete the set in 2008, it was a lot of work buying and selling the old ones I upgraded.  Once I got the last box I needed (brand new Tropical Fish), I just didn't want to spend more time keep upgrading.

Sweet fancy Moses!  That is one hell of a collection.  I hope you've got a really nice unit to display them all in...

I do have quite a few display cases around the house, but those games aren't being displayed.  Statues have taken up the space!IMG_4575.thumb.JPG.95da2631b88bcf84959bcfba110bc39b.JPG

Thanks, it's a nice collection, but I know of a couple collections that are better.  There are folks who are more devoted, and more willing to spend.  I did stop upgrading 13 years ago lol.
