peg | 370
This brings up the question as to what exactly is the most expensive playable game that was sold at retail? It's still got to be Stadium Events right? If you venture into arcade PCBs there is always the first Gradius, which the non-bubble system version can easily go for over 10K for just the PCB. WhyNotZoidberg | 585
Chrono Trigger sealed when it came out. Bought that with my birthday money in 1995. It was merely super mint CIB ++ with all inserts by the time I put the cart in my SNES tho lol. Recently, I'd say Crash n Burn longbox on 3DO. That version's worth 2-300 dollars. MiamiSlice | 3,089
All the expensive games I've bought in the past couple years have sat on a shelf... I haven't completed them.
bridgemute | 5
Earthbound, back in middle school. Probably 3 times through, I think. I got the Sword of Kings, but I tried for days to get the gutsy bat...to no avail.
