It took him 3 hours to get from cinnabar to game done. I'd consider that slow.

Thanks man. @me and post what your working on. I do speed runs through stuff just to complete. It actually took me 13 hours of play to finish and grind through Pokémon red. Most speed runners take 3 hours total.

Also, I have no need to lie honestly. Doesn’t help me at all. I’ve decided to just chill from this thread since it seems I’m stepping on others toes. Not what I’m intending on doing. I’m glad to have contributed what I could on the past few days I have had off. Enjoy my friends. Anyone needs help just let me know.

I wouldn't worry about stepping on toes, it's all for fun. People aren't allowed to claim games, and even if they were I don't see Koi making any mention at all of having started playing Red.

If he's ticked I'm sure it's just at the universe, not like, actually pissed off at you for "taking" a game he was playing.

I'd encourage you to continue playing and contributing, it's good to see.

Well, I still don’t want to cause any ill will on here. I just enjoy doing my thing and helping out. Never had the chance to on NA when I was there from 2008 till it’s demise. Just trying to help the thread was all.

Complete

Frogger (as aggravating as I remember)

Godzilla (reminds me more of chutes and ladders, not want I expected)

Hit the ice (game play not bad for its time. The refs looked like sticks haha)

Home alone (the electronics part for me seemed to be the hardest)

Home alone 2: lost in new york( 100% easier than the first)

Hudson hawk (this dude is a player with his dark shades and flat top hair cut lol)

Jurassic park( really enjoyed the background music on this one)

Jurassic park part 2: the chaos continues( the music here wasn’t half bad either)

Kid Dracula (this dude reminds me of super sayan kid goku)

I'm glad you were willing to come back in spite of my prior remarks. I will join the onlookers in watching your crusade continue (while still doing a bit myself).

On that note, I've started playing Vegas Stakes, that game will just take a lot of time, so I don't know when it will be done, but know that I'm still working on it. It's just that you are stuck at first. The first casino is only open to bets of a maximum of 300 per bet on Poker, 500 a game on blackjack, with little exception for increasing that. You can go to a bigger casino with no betting limit, but only after you make 100k. So, until I get there, it will just be a long slog to get that money.

I am taking on Pokémon blue now. It will be a bit. Only at the second gym.

It may not be much, but here's a humble contribution by me: Castlevania: The Adventure and Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.

I used to dislike Castelvania for the Game Boy since it's so slow and its level design is lacking in parts and sometimes also sardistically difficult. But as I kept trying and trying it grew on me. Also, the music is really good and some tracks are absolutely fantastic for a Game Boy game.

I recently beat Kid icarus on the NES so I wanted to try the GB version again and compare it. The GB version is just sooo much more fun since I don't spend hours grinding for hearts and points or losing my progress over and over again due to some unfair part of a level. This version is much easier and more player-friendly. I greatly prefer it over the NES game, which I won't be touching again any time soon. The only aspect of the NES version that was superior to the GB game is the music. Moreover, the NES game had several endings and the best ending was really cool, i.e. Palutena giving Pit a kiss whereas the GB game only shows you this creepy Teletubbies sun smiling at you.

That smiling sun is the stuff of nightmares.

I beat the highscore for Millipede in Arcade Classic No. 2: Centipede / Millipede and for both games in Arcade Classic No. 3: Galaga / Galaxian.

As for Game & Watch Gallery: is it necessary to get 1000 points in every game on every mode and every difficulty? I just got 1009 point in the Octopus game on easy and got the following screen (the fourth pic at the very bottom):

Gaia Gensouki, I'm not sure why, but those pictures look to me like huge, holographic, textured art pieces hanging on a white wall. Like, I know you just took a picture of your monitor, but it looks like you went to an art gallery with giant reproductions of Game Boy art mounted on their white walls. 😄 I don't know whether it's a trick of the light or the way the shot is framed, but it had me confused for a solid few seconds.

We decided that the first "credit roll" is sufficient. It's not actual credits; it's just "Mario" and "Yoshi" etc but it's at least a solid milestone. You see it by getting 4 stars in any 4 games/modes. So, if you can get 3 more 1000's you should see the credit roll.
