Well if you're serious, I don't mind.  Maybe we can do a trade as you seem to get a lot of stuff watching this thread.  And if it ends up uneven we can figure the difference.  I'd rather someone enjoy it right than pop it on ebay's vulture pit next month or after as I have a huge case of GB to GBA games I need to get through.

Wow new outfits for Hooker Barbie, or would it be for skanky Skipper? 😄

Seriously though, I did get a nice little package of GBC games (3) in the mail today I'm happy to own once more:  Game & Watch Gallery 2 and 3, then Rampage World Tour.  Good mindless distraction titles, have another 3in the mail, probably do another post then with a pic to consolidate.

On Friday, a couple more books came in from Thriftbooks; Metal Gear is on the way, so now I only need the Bases Loaded Worlds of Power book to complete the set. I still have a ways to go with the Nintendo Adventure Books (I used to have them all as a kid and I miss them). Then, on Saturday, my sister wanted to go to the local game store together to trade in some fodder and asked if we could go together. I found a really nice copy of Battle Phantasia for $11, while she got a CIB LoZ: LttP on GBA and banked the rest of her credit.

My younger brother came with us as well and wanted to swing by the pawn shop, where I found a new copy of Timespinner, which I've read is a good game. Before heading home, I had to stop by the post office to pick up what I thought were two packages for my wife, but it turns out that one of them was the Samurai Shodown Collection I'd ordered what feels like an age ago.

Yesterday though...yesterday felt like Christmas all over again. Wallachia: Reign of Dracula showed up...

...and so did my Play Asia order! I love shooters, and I'm always down for an M2 Shot Trigger release, so the Aleste Collection (with a new game...GG3!? YES!) and Esp.Ra.De Psi have been high on my list, and since I was ordering anyway, I thought I'd try Pawarumi. Mr. Driller Encore was a no-brainer...I just love playing Mr. Driller.

Anyway, lots of awesome surprises since the weekend! Happy hunting everyone!

It’s been a while. Let’s take a look at some pick ups! A lot of this stuff is birthday pickups.

First up we have the 2 sonic master system games that I mentioned in my last post. A day or 2 after I last posted the 2 games arrived. They are very clean, however Sonic 1’s case arrived slightly crushed where you open it, but I was able to fix it and you can’t tell the difference.

My dad got me a copy of pinball. Not a terribly exciting game to some, but definitely one for me. I think this is the best pinball game on the NES.

It also came in with a plastic case, which I now use for one of my best NES games and my most expensive NES game, Destiny of an Emperor.97DE24B1-2A43-47DD-8D8A-DEE5C33C5A42.thumb.jpeg.fa5134827040996ccce3d1320129f15c.jpeg
He also got me a game genie with the code book. He got it for a good price for 50 CAD. Based off of sold listings on eBay this seems to be a good price. I really like reading the book. I haven’t been able to get the game genie working in my NES due to bad pin connectors on my system (which I have been saying I will get to for years and never actually do it).

Next up we have A NES lot that again isn’t too exciting. We have Golf, Bandai Golf, Jack Nicklaus Golf and RBI baseball. No I don’t live an exciting life. Yes I like Golf. Bandai Golf is an ex Blockbuster rental game, so it will be staying in the collection for ever. This was very cheap considering the games. I think it was around 10 CAD.

My dad just surprised me with this AGS-101 while typing this. We had discussed about how my old DS lite was broken. He apparently got this for 140 CAD, which is a very good deal. It appears to be complete.

Finally we have some non video game stuff. But it’s too cool not to include in here.

The magazine is from my sister, and the CDs are from my mom. Moving Pictures came cracked, and I didn’t notice until I opened the package.

The CDs make my shelf look complete, and it’s completely full now. The little space between my NES and Master System games has my 2 lose Master System game, Wonder Boy and World Grand Prix.

Heres to everyone getting more awesome pickups!

EDIT: I completely forgot that I got some Nintendo gift cards too! I used on getting all the games for the Capcom Arcade Stadium, and the rest of the money went straight to getting the sega ages games. I really like switch series and I think they should have continued it.

Some nice games on that shelf! Track & Field II is very underrated, as is the original NES Soccer. Also good to see Popeye there. 😀 You should try and beat Dr. Mario on speed level High, round 20. Most people don't know that Dr. Mario has an actual ending if you do that. No credits, but the story has a pretty cool ending cinematic if you do it.

Wow, is that the NTSC Sonic worth huge money? Does it have the UPC sticker on it?

Thanks! I never hear anyone talk about the black box games, but some of them are a lot of fun once you play them for a while! Popeye is definitely my favourite.

I have beaten Dr Mario, but it was a long time ago and I used the GBA classic NES series version. I was really good at it when I was a kid, now I’m a bit rusty. I never understood the ending, but I really liked the music that played.

I always forget that Sonic was released in the US. My copy does not have the UPC sticker on it.

I hope I'm not double posting anything, this has been a very busy week so I've had a hard time keeping track ha ha

One of my LRG orders from a looooong time ago finally arrived:

Made some random deals including picking up a first print BotW for Wii U:

spacer.png

I asked on here if Oceanhorn was worth getting and someone told me to download the demo but then I found a decent deal on a used copy so here we are (still haven't played it though):

spacer.png

Went to GameStop to return something (oh, you order something online and you don't get the pre-order bonus but they don't tell you that...) and I saw this sitting behind the counter, I'm pretty sure it was there for months... it was on sale... I love the show and I do like the statue, even if the game isn't amazing:

spacer.png

Picked this JP Sword of Mana bundle for the books, might not keep the game:

spacer.png

Got the first My Hero along with the Mario 3D All Stars skins in a trade, now I have all 3 of the Mario anniversary pre-order bonuses:

spacer.png

Picked up some more strategy guides in a bundle deal, glad to have finally picked up the Fire Emblem guide which I was hunting for quite a while, and it's in great shape too:

spacer.png

Not the best picture but I added another Game Boy to the collection:

spacer.png

Also picked up a sealed Pandora's Tower on a whim:

spacer.png

Won this in a contest, would have preferred the Switch version but oh well:

spacer.png

Got my Mario 35th pin set 2 in finally, along with the 3D World lanyard and an extra set of posters:

spacer.png

And lastly, remember these? Thanks @Tanooki!
