Little advice on a tv sound system needed

My father just got himself a new tv on black friday and now wants  a sound system for it.  So my aunt and grandfather want to get it for him for Christmas.  Apparently since I'm the "young kid, you should know about this stuff" they want me to tell them which thing to get.  I admittedly know nothing of sound systems and was seeking advice from you guys.  These are the options they're harping me on me about.  So if someone could give me advice on which of these seem better for whatever reason I would appreciate it.

I wouldn't trust Amazon reviews for people buying low end speakers. Most people will be upgrading from TV speakers and think basically anything is good.

Vizio make surprisingly good soundbars for a really good price.

I have the LG SH3K soundbar that comes with a wireless subwoofer. I don't remember spending an arm and a leg in it. I like it and my wife complains it’s too loud....

I also have an LG soundbar with wireless sub and no complaints, budget-friendly and mine is an older model - I assume the newer ones are even better.
