I agree. In general I don't like standalone apps for websites. The only thing I could see the app providing is push notifications for PMs and replies. I mean the only forum app I know is tapatalk, but I hated using it with other forums compared to the web interface. The site looks great on mobile and you can get email notifications if you want, so I'm not sure what new features an app could have to make it worthwhile.
