T-Pac | 8,024 Graphics Team ·
T-Pac's Ink-Tober is back! I'll be doing an ink drawing for every day of October and posting them to this thread from the 1st through the 31st. But this year, things are gonna be a bit different because ... THERE ARE NO RUUUUUUULES!!!! Ask me to draw anything. It doesn't even have to be video game related. A platypus ninja? A macaroni-n-cheese monster? A traffic cone made of orange gelatin? The meaning of life itself? All fair game... (That being said - I'll interpret all suggestions at my own discretion.) And as always - I encourage everyone to post their own artwork as we go along, too! It doesn't have to be ink-drawings, either - anything creative is worth sharing. Happy Ink-tober, everybody! Here we GOOOO!!! [T-Pac] 4 3 4

The meaning of life itself? Well I'm gonna start out by suggesting that you draw the meaning of life itself because I wanna see how you interpret that prompt, haha. Beyond that... I mean I dunno man, that's so much freedom that I honestly have no idea what to even suggest, y'know? With no limitations on suggestions, it gives me so many options that I just draw a blank, it's too much, haha. How about this: Emotions. Happiness, sadness, anger, etc. Just, at a base level, the concept of human emotion. How do you interpret that? I wanna see what your brain comes up with for more nebulous, conceptual prompts like that. I'm gonna try to think of some more good ones like that over the next few days, I'm gonna try to stick to concepts rather than actual things like characters from a game or movie or what have you because I'm really curious to see what results from prompts like that.

AverageOliver98 | 746
Can't decide between these two so I'll let you pick which one you'd rather do Favorite Obscure Fictional Character - a character you like, but very few (if any) know who they are or what they're from OR A Mega Man Robot Master - given that the various robot bosses (*blank* Man/Woman) from Mega Man 2 through 8 were mostly contest entries, why not design your own for a fictional Mega Man 12 contest? 1 1

ThePhleo | 2,276
No Rules....eh *wicked grin* Can you re-interpret the Sistine Chapel to contain: Space Fortess (Astrocade Game) [2023 Inktober Request] Nerves & Bau (Abadox) [2022 Inktober Request] Paddle (Pong) [2022 Alt-Inktober Request] Final Form Kafka (Final Fantasy VI) [2021 Inktober Request] Lolo (Adventures of Lolo) [2021 Alt-Inktober Request] Mario (Wrecking Crew) [2020 Inktober Request] Lickle (Little Samson) [My Avatar you made] That random cute shark you drew on a backer board! (photo below) But also, I need to add a 2024 character request, so can I also request one scene containing the Z-shape Tetris Block? ... see, I can make super simple requests! Edit: Also, is it even an Inktober if I don't request an alternative? We need a hyper detailed version of your CasualCart character. [T-Pac] Hey, I don't make the rules...and apparently neither do you. (Psst: I'm only half serious about my request. I don't literally expect you to re-imagine the freaking Sistine Chapel in video game art) Edit: Alternatively, you can even just make one giant poster board of everyone's requests this year in the style of the Sistine Chapel and then if you're feeling generous again this year, maybe auction off the final poster and the winner donates to a charity of your choosing (or even keep it for yourself because duh, it's your work) Edit 2: Also feel free to totally ignore my request :V Edited September 29 by ThePhleo

ikk | 572
Awesome to see Ink-Tober returning! I had 3 ideas I couldn't choose between so it's your pick: A macaw playing on Gamecube The backlog monster A fusion between a pikmin and a minion from Overlord, a game series also known as evil Pikmin. Code Monkey | 2,148
This is like generative artificial intelligence in real life. I was hoping for another obscure 8-bit request, I was going to suggest the big chicken from Freeway. Or in the prototype of the game, Activision initially used a human figure and they left a red streak across the freeway when they got smooshed. It was later changed to the chicken for release for obvious reasons.

Link | 2,885
I've been collecting cat art. One artist friend had a cat painting that I really liked, so I bought a print. Another artist friend drew her cat and sold prints to raise money for a big vet bill, so of course I bought that. And from then on I've decided that I'm going to get small cat pieces from as many artist friends as I can. So I request a Halloween cat. Maybe a T-Pac take on the old Beistle decorations.
GPX | 1,415
My favorite month when logging onto VGS! I will try and contribute something to this thread with a pic of my own. In the meantime, I would like @T-Pac to see a drawing of a ninja fighting against a never-before-seen end boss. Make it as badass as possible please!

Day 01: Emote I've been animating a fair bit of effects at work lately, and there's definitely an emotive quality to stuff like fire and smoke - so that's the direction I went with this one. RH | 5,231
This is a submission more for my kids. Could you draw a simple group image of the characters from The Princess Bride in an old cartoon style? Specifically Wesley, Buttercup, Inigo & Fezzik. And when I say "old cartoon style", I mean take your pick. It could be from the older days of Warner and Disney shorts, Saturday Morning cartoons, old school original Nicktoon-like art, whatever makes you happy. You can make it fancy if you want, but all I'm really asking/hoping for is at least a simple image of the group of characters.

So with that, here is the website to the ride I plan on doing every year it is held from here on out. https://www.rainride.org/ This is the "medal" that was handed out this year to finishers. 3 1
