Tyree_Cooper | 878
for those who do it regularly, i need some help. how much is shipping from USA to USA for a PS3 game in a small box, total weight 0.55 lb? what's the cheapest tracked method i can use? i sent the wrong game to 2 guys, one in NJ and the other one in FL. if they agree to re-ship to each other i will obviously take care of shipping, but i'd like to make sure i know the price more or less beforehand. wongojack | 322
It is almost definitely going to be via USPS Priority Mail. I think the cheapest way for a regular joe to get deals on shipping is to use the PayPal Shipping Center - https://www.paypal.com/shiplabel/home I THINK you need to have a positive PayPal balance, but even just $1 dollar works. You'll see discounts for shipping there that I can't find anywhere else. Priority Mail is almost always the cheapest tracked shipping within the USA. Note that the site will NOT sell you postage for a first class package (which is not tracked). I think you have to actually go to the post office for that. docile tapeworm | 4,272
@wongojack you can get “ground advantage” (formerly known as first class) cheaper and it’s tracked and insured. @Tyree_Cooper i ship ps3 games, in a box, for $5-$6
Tyree_Cooper | 878
hey thanks i looked up ground advantage which seems to be the cheapest at 6.75$ for 0.55lb priority mail is 10.40$, maybe because they charge for the box, but still expensive... i'll ask both buyers to keep it under 6$ if possible, hopefully they have some experience and know how to ship a package at the best price with usps Edited August 31 by Tyree_Cooper
