guitarzombie | 936
Fair review. My favorite Mega Man. The magnet beam requirement is definitely very lame. Altho to get over those blocks you showed I think you can just use Guts Mans or Elec Mans weapon. But later you do show the part where its 100% required. As for those respawning enemies over the pit, that's where you really have to use Fire Mans weapon to use it as a shield. Also isn't the pause glitch using the select button, not the start button? I think the start button brings up the menu. I also understand not liking the boss rush, as its kind of a lame way to extend the game. But MM isn't too bad because most of the bosses are VERY weak to whatever weapon deals the most damage. Interestingly with Guts Man, instead of using the Bomb Mans bomb, I find it much easier to just use the P-shooter, even during the refight.

Rhuno | 163
Cool video and a great overview of the game. I've played through the game several times over the years, but never without the pause trick. Finished a run through it just last month; it's a very enjoyable game and I very much appreciate the short length!

Josh was the player and narrator on this one! He's the MM pro. MM1 is the one I've played the least. I agree with him on the boss rush; that's my least favorite part of all the OG MM NES games, hands down. Fireman's shield is almost the panacea in MM1 lol. Thank you SO much for watching and taking the time to comment!

fcgamer | 5,018
Mega Man 2, that glitch with Wood Man and the Dr Wily stage, there's a similar glitch on Heat Man's level which my brother accessed multiple times over the years, by accident. Takes you to Dr Wily stage 1.

Yeah, these ones:Â I can still remember a lot of people were talking about those glitches in the early 2000s. 1
guitarzombie | 936
I also wanted to mention I dunno if the fall speed thing is a glitch. Maybe? But either way, I don't think it should be corrected in future releases and I'm glad that they don't. I love this game so much, I will routinely beat it on Playchoice-10 arcades and not continuing so I can get the high score. I even beat it on the Playchoice once without dying. But the pause glitch I only use for Yellow Devil.

I also think it adds to the charm of MM1! Thanks for your input and for watching, dude!
