What PS1 Light Guns Work with the port of Area 51?

I recently picked up Area 51 for the PS1 and I tried using the Namco GunCon and it did not appear to work. The manual mentions light guns, but does not provide any specific manufactures. I only had the GunCon to test. I want to surprise my dad with this game. We used to play it all of the time in arcades.

Area 51 is not compatible with the GunCon, which pretty much only works with Namco's Point Blank and Time Crisis games. I believe any other non-Namco gun should work, like Konami's Justifier, but they're a bit harder to find.

Remember that those light guns only work on old CRT televisions as well.

+1 for Konami Justifier. I could swear I remember a Sony one from before Time Crisis came out but I can’t find anything about it so I am probably wrong about that.
