Reporting Ebay scam listings?

Recommended Posts

I still have a saved search for sealed DW3, even though I already got mine (woohoo!) and I keep an eye on the new listings. Recently one popped up for auction and I noticed that it was a fake listing from an account with 0 feedback; all the pictures were stolen from another ebay listing. I reported it and messaged the guy with the original listing and he said he reported it as well. It didn't do any good, the item "sold" for a few thousand dollars. I checked a few days later and now the item link goes to a dead page. https://www.ebay.com/itm/404275283344

Well, they did it again with the exact same photos and a new dummy account. https://www.ebay.com/itm/155588986513

Just now noticed that there's another one which was BIN and also leads to a dead link.

What is the proper category to report these things? Do they just ignore the reports? I tried Fraudulent listing, but there's no space to put any text in so I have no idea what the reviewer, if they even have one, is going on. Not sure what to do here but I'm seeing these repeated scam listings and it doesn't sit right with me, but seems like there's nothing I can do. Feel bad for the poor sucker who paid $4,620 and had to sit around bugging ebay or their CC company to get their money back, and I know it's going to happen again.
