Ah, here we are:

 

It's short for P-2 Space Modulator.  I was invented by Marvin the Martian sometime prior to the Q-36 Space Modulator.

Those aren't actually "Eyes" they are "Ells" and they are Spanish and pronounced similar to a "Y" so it's not pronounced Pie but rather "Pee˜yeah!" The tilde indicates nasalisation.

The two II's are just outlining the negative space in between them so it really is like PI the transcendental number.  (¡Whoa, you see it? ...Cool, huh?)

It's an unpublished sequel to "everybody poops" titled U P 2!  It's just that the U isn't immediately distinguishable because it's clinging to the P in fear.       (¡rim-shot!)

It's actually "III" it's just that the first "I" is sticking out its tongue at the other two.

I'm a very old Roman twin of unknown parentage.  The P stands for "Progenies."

It was actually supposed to be bII (bee) but the b enjoys standing on it's head, ...just like me!  Prolly better that the b wants to be a p since (bee) is already taken.

 

...HoH, boy; I could keep pulling rabbits out of my hat I suppose, but I may as well just go ahead with the big reveal...

The truth is that my chosen name in this realm goes back to the hey day when I was excitedly rippin' through tracks in WipEout/64 for the first times and I needed a title by which to save my records on my N64's memory pak.

The two I's outline the negative space which is a straight piece of track and the "P" is a curving piece of track.

And that's the Real Deal.

It pie. I have always read it that way and @docile tapeworm has confirmed with his unofficial scoreboard names. I think images of pie have also been sent around. You may very well be right, but the incorrect thing is too deeply in place to be fixed now

I don't think I ever did get under 10k like you did. It was tedious, but I still must have been missing something.

That's what I figured. It was trying to get them to blow themselves up or jump off screen. When I got my 12k or whatever, I basically just jump kicked my way through the game because I didn't want to deal with that.
