Does an unfolded PS2 hangtab sticker increase value and/or woah factor?

Long story short, the square metal anti-theft sticker was ON TOP of the unfolded hangtab on that valuable game. Goo Gone helped me get the sticker off, but in the process, some of it must have gotten under the hangtab, as not all of it is sticked to the seal.

I am waiting a couple of days to see if it dries without consequences, but if not, I am planning on removing the hangtab. I don't want to risk any of that somehow spreading and getting under the seal.

What a f***ing bad luck of sticker placement.

I prefer ps2 games to include the unpunched hangtab, but if it’s not there and doesn’t look like one was there to begin with, I’m good with that too. If I see a game with a sticker outline, I won’t be willing to pay up as much.

Yeah the other copies I can find have the hangtab at the back, so I'd better keep it. Thanks!

Though I wonder if you store your games vertically, that hangtab will damage the game standing at the back in the long term.
