It was a good plot with relateable characters and lots of suspense, and I loved the climactic speech which was, despite its apparent nihilism, very affirming for me especially at that time in my life.

I've really enjoyed the stuff with strong social commentary coming from Asian countries recently and making it big in America without dubbed dialogue, like Squid Game, Everything Everywhere All At Once, this movie, and Bong Joon-ho's earlier Snowpiercer. I wonder if this is a movement that will be named in film analyses in the future.
