goldenpp72 | 1,221
Something of a curiosity I've noted is that aside from the SNES and NES era of cartridges it seems pretty difficult to find information on what PCB's exist within each cart for different regions. You have excellent sites like https://snescentral.com/scanlist.php?region=USA&type=cart for snes, but if I try to find that for say, Genesis, Game Boy, etc, I come up short. Does anyone know of a good site for that, or perhaps a reason they think it's not as demanded for other systems?
LeatherRebel5150 | 1,051
Something I'm curious about as well. Ive not seen any for Sega games or N64, definitely nothing for atari's consoles either
a3quit4s | 4,034
Sega retro has some stuff for Genesis that I’ve found but they def didn’t have the same quality control that Nintendo had. Here is the page for MUSHA with a PCB scan for example: https://segaretro.org/M.U.S.H.A.#Physical_scans
Tanooki | 4,925
I hope this is helpful as I vaguely remembered something of decent quality existed for the old Gameboy, it's not complete, but there's a lot and covers the various PCB variants so you can sniff out fakes. https://gbhwdb.gekkio.fi/cartridges/
goldenpp72 | 1,221
I tried to see something like Kid Dracula and they don't list it, so I guess the idea is to match up a legit PCB 'type' rather than a specific one in that case? Kinda weird if so..
Nintegageo | 580
Neo Geo MVS has a site.
Tanooki | 4,925
Why did I ever blank out on that other than I just don't think of arcade boards, even if it was technically consolized on AES. Here, if you're going to note it, link it. MVS Scans https://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/Main_Page
