chair | 7 Posted October 24, 2022 Share Posted October 24, 2022 I was in Book Off this weekend and found a CIB copy of Altered Beast for $11. The cartridge has typical looking cartridge wear, and the manual is slightly yellowed and feels authentic, but the case seems uncharacteristically clean. Would this be a replacement case anyone is familiar with? I am also curious about where the hangtab would normally be. It looks...odd? If it was cut off, it was an exceptionally clean cut, but it also looks like it could have been injected molded that way. Thoughts? Is the case a replacement? The whole thing fake? Maybe the tab was removed like a soda/beer can tab, just moved it back and forth till the plastic wore down, I've seen a lot of these exactly the same as well. I tried to track down my copy of Altered Beast to compare, but I couldn't find it ( I did find some extra copies of stuff I didn't know I had tho).
