Can we get an edit button at the top of a post?

Especially for longer post. I have a couple of long posts Ive made and it takes a while to scroll to the bottom on my phone. Could we get an edit button at the top of posts instead of the bottom? Makes more sense that way imo.

+1 for all navigation buttons to be duplicated on top and bottom of a thread.

By "thread" you mean post, I cake it? 

I fear that duplicating these at the top of posts may become a bit... Cluttered. Like, if we add edit, why not quote etc.? Suddenly every post has buttons all over it. 

It feels to be like only a very specific type of post might benefit from this.

Thread and post. By thread I meant the first post so yes posts not thread. The button could just be moved. If you know you want to edit a post, you should be able to click the button at the top and not have to scroll all the way down to see the button.

I am for this. 

Especially handy when editing original posts in a "for sale" thread. If it's heavy with pics, it's kind of a pain in the ass to scroll all the way to the bottom of the post every time you want to edit.

Agreed, 1+ would be a good addition imo.
