These memes, and how recognisable the original jokes are, just serve to remind me of how insanely brilliant the first many seasons of Simpsons really were.

This might be my favorite Simpsons meme "template." This one and the Metal Gear one both made me laugh out loud for several seconds. Luckily, no one from my family was around because they would want to know what was so funny, and absolutely no one else in my house would get either of those jokes.
