I had finished the game when I was playing through I discovered that it froze every certain place in level 3. I reached out for help in the NES Discord. I found some lovely people who were willing to help. Eventually, I figured out what they were trying to tell me and after a few days of me trying to figure stuff out, I eventually got it back working again just now. I played through the whole game without it freezing, which is no small feat because I think it takes about 20-25 minutes to do.

Right now I have it set to have it finish a level when 50 enemies go by. You can shoot at them, but you don't have to (although if you don't shoot at them, your score won't increase.) There are 10 levels in the whole game, and at the end it shows you your final score. In this case it was 310. A perfect game would be 500, but I doubt anyone will ever get a perfect game since you'd have to shoot every single milkshake, pizza or taco without dying. I found that you miss a chance to shoot a milkshake if you die. When a burger gets shot at, it takes a few seconds for it to regenerate. I could make it quicker, but what would be the fun in that?

This after tossing and turning in bed for about 3 hours. I tried going to sleep at 12:30 and couldn't get to sleep. At about 4 a.m. I told myself "screw this, I'm going to see if I can get the burgers game working." So I got up, and a few hours later, I have success. The next step is to try it out on the Everdrive. But I'm going to try to go back to sleep again.
